Does this tool test a real payment?

No. China Payment Check does not process payments, charge your card, or verify that a future transaction will succeed. It checks whether your payment setup looks complete, lets you practice common QR-payment flows, and gives you backup steps if something goes wrong.

Will a linked foreign card definitely work in China?

No. Successfully linking an eligible international card is an important preparation step, but it does not guarantee every payment will succeed. Acceptance can still depend on the card issuer, payment platform, merchant, transaction type, and current account conditions.

Can I use PayPal or my home e-wallet in China?

Sometimes. Some overseas wallets can be used at participating payment networks or merchants in China, but availability depends on your wallet, home country or region, and the merchant's supported network. China Payment Check only shows these options when we have verified current support.
